Well 5 weeks in and what have we seen so far around the league?

BC has been dominant.....though they are looking a little vulnerable this week with all the starters they have out of the line up.....Dickenson, Pierce, etc......

The Stumps in Cow Town are really struggling......looks like the Grey Cup parade they planned in the pre season is on hold right now.....The love affair with Burris looks to have ended....How much longer will he last out there??

Montreal is a shade of the team they used to be...Calvillo is scaring no one anymore and this is a team that is lucky to have Hamilton in their division....if they were in the West this year the basement is where they would sit....

Hamilton....yikes......besides starting out 0-5 and taking 150 penalty minutes a game there is a couple bright spots on this club.....Jesse Lumsden and Tommy Chang.....If they ever get smart and sit down Jason Mass who has been absolutely horrendous this year this team might have a fighting chance to win some games....Chang did nothing but put up numbers in Hawaii, and in my opinion is built to play in this league. The next Flutie...

What happened Damon Allen?? 2 years ago you were the Grey Cup MVP and until 2 weeks ago the third string QB....Toronto still has a solid defense but the QB position is in question.......

Winnipeg is doing exactly what I expected them to do so far this year....Be a pretty good ball club....This is my pick to come put of the east and so far they have looked good. Kevin Glenn is a solid quarterback when healthy and he has a lot of targets to look for.....including Mr. Charles Roberts to hand the ball off too in the backfield....It will be interesting to see what they can do when they play the lions, riders and stamps.....

The Eskimos.....other than Ricky Ray...Edmonton hasn't done much....they have had a lot of turnover and their defense has taken a few lumps(54 points vs. Riders).....I am on the fence with this team......my gut says they will be last again this year..but if things continue to fall apart in Calgary... who knows......

Riderville.......Defense wins championships....this team has the Defense to do it....Adding Wes Cates might have been the best move of the off season ....This guy is making most forget about Kenton Keith......The riders will finish second in the west this year and finally get a playoff game at home.......
