I gotta admit....a long time ago I scoffed at the idea of paying for radio via satellite.....In fact I believe I claimed that there is no way XM or SIRIUS would ever make it...........Ahh...to be young and never wrong.....Ok well I am still never wrong...but anyways....
After getting my dad a Sirius receiver for his birthday last year I opened up to the idea of getting one myself. So after a little while I finally ended up getting one....
Let me tell you.....it was the best move I have made in a long time.....Not only does if pass the time on trips back to Regina but SIRUS radio is just a thing of beauty.
Tons of stations playing commercial free non stop music....literally whatever you want......
For the talk radio lover.....not even including Howard Stern...there is a huge selection of talking heads to choose from....
Sports is non-stop with ESPN radio I love to get my daily dose of NFL fantasy football thoughts.....all in all its a great thing....
Howard Stern...what can you say about this guy....HILARIOUS....what a show...its really complete chaos which is what makes it so funny....To be honest with you..its not even Howard I tune in to listen to...its the rest of personalities...Like Artie Lange, Richard, Sal, etc.......
I find myself sitting in my car even after I reach my destination because I don't' want to miss a thing......
Another great feature is the fact that if you have an account you can actually stream SIRIUS live on the internet...so for those that are able to..can listen at work if they want.....
